Wake up to spring with a concert celebrating the vibrant and expressive world of handbell music. The program features works written especially for handbells, including Land of the Silver Birch, Contemplations by Ron Mallory, and Festival Intrada by Cynthia Dobrinski. 

Cosmopolitan Music Society’s advanced Monday Night Band is excited to present “Uniquely Ours” a joint concert with our own Overtones Handbell Choir. 

The concert will feature the World premier of Lantern Festival, composed by Edmonton’s own Joseph Cheukman Lai for the Monday Night Band.  In addition, the band will present an energetic overture and classics of the Wind Band repertoire including Robert Russell Bennett’s Symphonic Songs for Band and the Florentiner March by Julius Fučik.
