Jonathan Sutton (Conductor/Music Director) is thrilled to work with the Cosmopolitan Music Society for this exciting musical project. He is a professional musician, director, and vocalist, originally from Bozeman, Montana, USA. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Concordia College (MN), and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Montana State University. He currently coordinates and delivers learning programs at the Francis Winspear Centre for Music. Jonathan has extensive experience working with bands and choirs of all ages in classrooms and communities like the Bozeman Municipal Band and Three Forks Community Band. In addition to directing, he sings with ProCoro Canada, Ephemera, and Haven choirs. He is grateful for this opportunity to bring such rich and wonderful music to Edmonton!

Annie Randall (Theatrical Director) is excited to be assisting with the theatrical directing of The Music of South Pacific with the Cosmopolitan Music Society. A graduate of Concordia University of Edmonton, she has been actively involved in the performing arts both on stage and behind the scenes. Performance credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Tuck Everlasting with CUE and Pirates of Penzance with the University of Alberta. While at Concordia, Annie helped create the Concordia Cabaret during the semi-lockdown period of the pandemic and was a member of both the Concordia Concert Choir and the U of A Madrigal Singers. She has additional credits with the Leduc Drama Society, Cathexis Theatre and the Edmonton Opera Chorus. 

In addition to her work in theatre, Annie has performed with several of Edmonton’s choirs, including Pro Coro Canada, Chronos Vocal Ensemble and Ariose Choir. 

She is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Cosmopolitan Music Society and is thrilled to support such a vibrant and talented community of performers.
